FINALLY! No, I didn’t finish it. I haven’t even started sewing it! BUT… I did finish cutting my squares and figured out the pattern. Which by the way there really isn’t much of a pattern, I just didn’t want two solids or two prints next to each other. Adam laughs at me and calls me old, but I found cutting the squares very calming. Now lets just see if sewing all them squares together is just as calming. LOL. I did contemplate posting a picture of the layout, but decided against it since I want the finished project to be a surprise. So consider this your sneak peak. :)
Don't let anyone tell you, you can't make something out of shit. I've seen it first hand. It was a mural, on my playroom wall, with Cheerios stuck in it.

1st Baby Blanket
I’ve had this finished for some time and have wanted to post a picture of it but since I hadn’t given it to Baby Claire I didn’t want to ruin the present. It was my second project using a sewing machine (my 1st was for baby girls shopping cart cover). And even though it has it’s flaws, I’m very proud of it. I never thought I would fall in love with using a sewing machine, but after coming across The Sometimes Crafter Blog I just can’t seem to get enough. Her work and ideas are so inspiring. My next project is a rag quilt for Baby Girl. But for now, I hope Baby Claire enjoys her lovie.
