1 year ago today, I was 34 weeks pregnant. 1 year ago today, I woke up excited it was my first day of maternity leave. 1 year ago today I had lots to do before baby girls shower the coming up weekend. 1 year ago today, I couldn’t figure out why it felt like I kept peeing my pants (sorry tmi). 1 year ago today, I drove myself to labor and delivery because my mother wouldn’t let me run errands with my water broken. 1 year ago today, I ran laps around the labor and delivery floor at South Sac Kaiser trying to make my contractions start. 1 year ago today, I was once again hooked up to Pitocin because I wouldn’t dilate past 3cm. 1 year ago today, I watched my husband beg me to get an epidural but I refused because I was going to do it this time! 1 year ago today, instead of my labor room being a party like the other two times it became chaotic and within minutes I was rushed to ER. 1 year ago today; Adam, myself, and every other family member and friend who was present were scared shitless. 1 year ago today, there was blood loss and tears shed. 1 year ago today, Adam almost fainted twice. BUT 1 year ago today, angels in Heaven were watching over us. 1 year ago today, our hearts were (and still are) filled with more love then words can ever explain. 1 year ago today, the Lord reached down and blessed our family. 1 year ago today, our family was completed (85% sure of that one). 1 year ago today, our baby girl; Taylor Jordan came to be!
Don't let anyone tell you, you can't make something out of shit. I've seen it first hand. It was a mural, on my playroom wall, with Cheerios stuck in it.

Private Photo Shoot
It seems every time I go to upload pictures from my camera there are WAY more on there then what I took. I’ve come to the conclusion that I really need to stop leaving it out for the kids to get a hold of. Here are a few of the recent pictures Mason took of himself. He cracks me up!!

Closet Eater
I went to hang up clothes this morning and this is what I found…
I thought I fixed this problem last year when I found a half eaten jar of peanut butter along with applesauce in the boys closet. I guess not. I swear on my life I feed these kids!!

HELLOOOO Mr.Fireman

If you read my blog about Mason’s first field trip to Fairytale Town then you would know how I feel about them. But this field trip was different, I just couldn't miss it! And I know what your thinking, but it had nothing to do with it being at a firehouse with hot fireman walking all around. My decision to go was completely based on the fact it was Cody’s first field trip and he LOVES fire trucks. I swear!!

Pumpkin Patch 2009
A few years ago a coworker of mine told me about Bishops Pumpkin Patch in Wheatland and ever since then we have gone. It is by far the BEST pumpkin patch around!! I can only think of two downfalls; the food “stores” and coyote mountain. Each food store sells a different item, which means if you want a corndog and fries you have to stand in two different lines. I’m really not sure why they would set it up like this. Who would want to eat a corndog and not fries? Not me, bring on the lard! As for coyote mountain; this is an area with two slides, one 50ft and another 30ft. All very cute, but I’m not going to pay $4 a kid to go down a slide. No matter if it’s unlimited!
Now to the reason’s why it’s the BEST pumpkin patch; free tree house slide, free barn play area, free pig races, free petting zoo, free hay ride, and a free puppet show (even though it’s a little creepy). Now do you see why it’s the best? FREE, FREE, FREE! They also have a huge selection of pumpkins. You can either take the hayride out to find your special one or grab one on your way out. And I can’t forget their apple cider, DELICIOUS!
As always, the kids had a blast! This year their cousin Tyler and buddy Carter joined us. It’s amazing how will kids can get along when they are enjoying themselves. :)
