The hardest part of any friendship is when it's time to say goodbye. As much as we might like things to stay the same, change is an inevitable part of life. We grow up, we change, we move on; we eventual decide to take different paths on our life journey. And no matter if we are prepared for these moments or not, they are never easy. Saying goodbye to a friend you’ve grown to love and care for over the years is heart wrenching. The only thing you can really do is to remember that even though a chapter of your life is ending, a new one is beginning.
So, I say goodbye to you my dear friend. The time has come for us to go our separate ways. We are choosing different paths to travel and they no longer include each other. Perhaps one day our paths will cross and we can once again travel together, but if that day never comes, I wish you luck and happiness on your future endeavors.
